The Jung Brewing Family Educational Foundation Inc was organized in 2022 as a 501(c)3 organizaton by Jeff Scholz to preserve the history of the breweries that were founded and/or operated by various branches of the Jung family. To accomplish this mission, The Foundation will conduct research, collect materials (advertising, ephemera, collectibles, trade tools, personal effects, etc.), and share that research and materials with the public, historical societies, museums, and other civic organizations.

Jeff has become one of the premier experts on the history of various Jung related breweries. He been collecting stories, photos, and breweriana as well as researching historical artifacts related to the Jung Breweries and Jung families for decades. His uncle, Hugo Jung, was a direct descendent of both William G. Jung and Wilhelm Jung, Sr. - and was also related to Philipp Jung as well. Those three ancestors founded 5 important breweries in southeastern Wisconsin and worked in others as well.
